Who Is JOHN TESH?
John Frank Tesh Jr. is a multifaceted American musician and prominent radio and television presenter.
Known for composing the iconic NBA on NBC basketball theme "Roundball Rock," Tesh has made significant contributions to both music and broadcasting.
He co-hosts the Intelligence for Your Life radio show and has been hosting the TV version of the show with his wife, Connie Sellecca, since 2014.
Throughout his illustrious career, Tesh has garnered six Emmys, four gold albums, two Grammy nominations, and an Associated Press award for investigative journalism.
With over eight million records sold and live concerts that have raised more than $7 million for PBS, his impact on the music industry is undeniable. Tesh's television career includes co-hosting Entertainment Tonight and working as a sports commentator for prestigious events such as the Olympic Games, Wimbledon, and the Tour de France.
In 2018, he was honored with an induction into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame, solidifying his legacy as a distinguished figure in the entertainment industry.
He also served as a sportscaster for CBS and NBC, covering events such as the Tour de France, the US Open, and the Summer Olympics. In 2014, he returned to syndicated television with Intelligence for Your Life
