Two-minute Scripture audio by John Tesh, Monday through Friday. One verse, one faith direction, one practical next step — for the morning, the car, the sleepless night, the hard conversation.

Recorded audio
John records these as short Scripture-based audio clips you can put on in the moment you need them.
Why John made this
In 2015, when doctors told me I had 18 months to live, Mark 11:23 stopped being a verse on a page. It became something I had to practice out loud.
In the parking lot. In the chemo chair. At 3am. I needed Scripture I could say when fear was not theoretical and faith had to become something I could actually use.
That is why these clips are short. One verse. One faith direction. One next step. Not a sermon to study later, but a word you can put in your ears while you are living the moment in front of you.
A Deeper Faith grew out of that same place: holding the Word of God and wise medical care together, and learning how to keep speaking faith when the mountain is still standing there.
Listener proof
Enjoying these daily emails. Very beneficial and the audio clips are delivered with passion and authenticity!
I have Mark 11:23 memorized and say it often, speaking out healing. I like to speak to the cancer about my God, health, and wellness. Praying continuously and with friends speaking to this mountain.
Thank you John for your connection, guidance, and wisdom with God. I am beginning to understand the power of the Holy Spirit.
I can't even begin to explain how timely this was for me today. I have been getting so weary, feeling like I am fighting the same fight. Thank you for being sensitive and sending such encouraging thoughts!
Where it fits
Start with one Scripture, one faith direction, and one sentence you can carry before the day gets loud.
Use the drive between appointments, errands, or work to reset before your thoughts start looping.
Let faith be the last voice in your ears when your mind wants to replay the day.
Listen before the conversation where you need wisdom, restraint, courage, or grace.
Tap play when the same thought keeps circling and you need something truer to answer it.
Use the next step at the end of each clip when you need clarity before moving forward.
Faith and medicine
John created the Deeper Faith Monday through Friday audio emails out of the same tension he lived through: needing God, needing doctors, and needing those two realities to stop feeling like opposites.
This is not a replacement for medical care, counseling, or wise professional help. It is Scripture-based guidance to help you stay grounded while you walk through real life with courage and clarity.
Questions
A Deeper Faith is Scripture-first, not denominational. Usually one verse per clip — and applied to real-life moments. It's a short daily reset Monday through Friday. Each clip is about 2 minutes: one Scripture, one faith direction, and one practical next step you can use that day. Think of it as a friend handing you the verse and the action — not a teacher walking you through theology.
Most devotionals give you the verse and a thought. This gives you the verse, what to do with it in the moment in front of you, and an audio you can play hands-free in the car or on a walk — or even send to a friend. No app to learn. No screen to read. Just press play.
This is the audience John built it for. The clips were written out of his own 11-year cancer journey, so the topics include health stress, fear, sleepless nights, hard conversations, decision fatigue, and grief. It will not replace your doctor, counselor, or pastor — but it gives you Scripture to hold onto between those conversations.
About 2 minutes. One audio clip, Monday through Friday, by email. You can listen while you're making coffee, driving, or before bed. There's nothing to read, nothing to download, and nothing builds up if you miss a day.
If you can open an email, you can use this. The audio plays right inside the email — no app, no login, no password to remember. If you ever get stuck, John's team responds to support emails personally.
You have 30 days to try it. If it doesn't fit, email us and we'll refund every dollar — no forms, no phone calls, no "are you sure." Cancel anytime after that and you keep access through the end of your billing period.

I'm going to be telling you more and more about my favorite scripture. Speak to the mountain. Speak to the mountain. Don't beg. Don't bargain. Speak to your mountain. Mark 11.23, Jesus says, whoever tells this mountain to be lifted up and thrown into the sea and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Read that again. He didn't say ask the mountain to move. He said tell it. There is a difference. We've been trained to pray small, to hedge, to whisper. If it's your will at the end of every sentence so God can't be disappointed in us, we can't be disappointed in him. That's not what Jesus taught. He taught us to speak directly to the thing in front of us, with our mouths, with authority, expecting it to move. There's also Proverbs 18.21, death and life are in the power of the tongue. Researchers at Baylor studied patients facing serious illness and found that those who prayed with specific expectant language showed significantly better psychological outcomes than those whose prayers were vague or resigned. Expectation changes the chemistry. Expectation. Here's your takeaway. Whatever your mountain is right now, the diagnosis, the death, the broken relationship, stop praying around it and speak to it. What is it that my friend Andrew Wommack always says? He says, don't tell God about your sickness. Don't talk to God about your sickness. Talk to your sickness about God. There it is. Out loud, by name. Eleven years later, I'm still here. The mountain moved. Speak to yours and amazing things will happen.
